Merry Christmas
Christmas is a time to enjoy family and tradition. What are your traditions? Snowman, snow angels, christmas cake, turkey, ham, family gathering, stockings hung by the fireplace, christmas sweaters, parties, colours red, green, decorating the christmas tree, real or artificial it represents lots of fun and laughter, and Santa Claus. We all have some semblance of these traditions and then individual ones too. Lots of home baked goods, opening of the gifts etc etc. Christmas is a fun time that is for sure. Lets not forget those that are less fortunate than us. Find a way to give back and enjoy the joy of giving. My family always celebrated with Santa arriving and leaving a gift under the tree, but much better than that was the Christmas story that we all enjoyed from the Bible of the birth of Jesus which is thought to have been on or near December 25. Visiting a nativity scene of the manger with Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus has always been Christmas to us. I always have had and still do have a creche sitting on my livingroom table as the center of my home. So how ever and whatever traditions your family has, look around the room and know how blessed you are to have family you love and love you, Have a blessed Christmas season, Be safe and happy this Christmas. Sincerely, Eva
