Summer Fun with Shadow my Cat!

Do you have a pet? My cat who is now 10.5 years old has been with me for 8.5 years and she loves me and I love her. I don’t even remember what life was like without her nor do I want to think back. We have lived alone most of this time. She greets me in the morning with that famous meow, she sleeps with me in the night and always greets me at the door when I am returning from a day trip. She was diagnosed in November 2023 with diabetes. I myself am diabeic too but a cat with diabetes is very different. Two needles a day, 12 hours apart and a special veterinarian diet of low calorie food with hi protein and vitamins too. Trips to the vet for testing every 6 months for blood sugar tests and other tests as needed. The prognosis is 3 years of life. My thinking is the same as ever. I will try hard to give her the best quality of life with lots of love until that fateful day arrives. Right now I see a cat who loves life, tells me what she needs from me, enjoys her spot in the sun and her toys on the floor.

I would never trade the time we have had together. Many joyous memories. I am putting a page on my store featuring her stroller and food, litter and so much more. I have the story of Shadow and if I can figure out how to put it on the website right now, I will. The website is new so I am learning a totally different program. 🙂

A note before I leave. The stroller. I am featuring one on my website but there are many choices available when you click. I bought mine as I have mobility issues and am unable to carry Shadow very far and I wanted her safe. So into the stroller and taken to the car and put in her crate and off to the vet or to the campground or anywhere else we want or need to go. She has had many outside walks in her stroller and feels safe from other animals and people in her private stroller space. She really claims it for her own..which it is.
